During an excursion, a scientist comes across an old diamond mine, and, accidentally, he finds an old, strange diamond, half-buried in the rocks near the entrance. He is fascinated by it, especially for the strange color of the mineral. Brought into his laboratory, he comes to know the identity of this bright object. He discovers that it comes from space. A while later, the space diamond is exhibited in a museum of non-terrestrial objects. A young geology student, Jolnis Greenwood, is struck by the beauty of that stone. It looks at the spellbound student, but suddenly, a green ray hits the boy, making his vision blurry for a few minutes. From that moment on, life will be different for him. In fact, he discovers that that precious stone has given him powers to crystallize anything and lighten his body to be able to fly. A new superhero is born, and with the name of Black Diamond, he will protect the earth from those who want back their object, which they call... Woons-Hapalg.
