When the general lighting is good but the eyes look a bit dull, the obvious solution would be to create some additional light source in Daz Studio and point it directly at the eyes. You would need to figure out the right distance, the right angle, the right size, and the right brightness, not to mention the right shape. It takes a lot of trial and error to get it right. Speaking about shapes, usually, you'd have only two choices: circle or square. Besides, the new light will inevitably change the overall lighting on the face and this is not what you might want.
