These exotic plants hail from central america where it lives in tropical forests or jungle environments, its also widely cultivated as a garden plant in warmer areas of the globe or as a potted plants elsewhere. The spidery upright bright yellow and red flowering spikes attract pollination by birds and add a lovely splash of subtle color to the lush foliage.
